Capitol City Gun Club

Bob Gibson, a long time Carson City resident was inducted in Nevada Trapshooting Hall of fame. The ceremony took place on September 15^th at the Capital City Gun Club.

Bob has won many awards in trapshooting events across the state since 1978 when he won the Nevada State Class B Singles Championship in Las Vegas. 1978 was also the year that he won the Nevada State PITA championship in Elko.

Bob has been teaching trapshooting since 1998 and continues to teach to this day.
Bob co-teaches the Junior Shooters at the Capital City Gun Club in cooperation with the local 4H club. Bob is a staunch supporter of the Hunter Safety training program.

Bob has been a board member at the Capital City Gun Club for over 20 years.
Bob and his wife Caroline built the over 40 acres of fence that surround the Capital City Gun Club.

Bob was presented with several plaques at the ceremony and his portrait will hang in the Trapshooting hall of fame building located at the gun club.
